We offer accommodation in a new barn-conversion cottage in Öxabäck, with views of Brokvarn, a beautiful recreation area on the banks of the Torestorpsån river. The nearby lakes and wilderness areas, along with well-known tourist attractions and shopping facilities within reasonable striking distance, makes Brokvarn’s fishing and countryside centre the ideal place to recharge your batteries.

You are welcome to book either just the cottage, or an all-inclusive adventure package with fishing, guide, fishing tackle, wilderness experiences and accommodation.

Anyone who likes a fun-filled holiday can spend their time here doing what they like best. You can enjoy fishing in 25 lakes, canoeing, swimming and walking in the woods. You can sit down and enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest and the sound of the river, or track the wildlife and, maybe, catch the King of the Forest – the elk – on camera. If you are really fortunate, you may even get a picture of a wild boar.

If it’s raining, and shopping seems like a more attractive alternative, you can go bargain-hunting at the Tygriket textile outlets, Knalleland outlet village, the village of Ullared with its large department store or Gällstad, a centre for fashion and textiles. The city of Gothenburg isn’t too far away, nor is the bathing and summer resort of Varberg, where you can enjoy entertainment and attractions of a completely different kind.
